When we care deeply about nature and our planet, and we consider some of the things that are happening in the world, we can easily become overwhelmed. We may also feel very alone, and anxious about the future. In this workshop, there will be a safe space to share your experience, and we will practice evidence-based tools and techniques for staying calm and centred. We will be drawing on the work by Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone, documented in their book Active Hope.

We will cover:

  • Mindfulness and breathwork practice

  • Sharing personal stories and experience

  • Exploration of purpose and values

  • Strengths and gratitude practice

  • Intention setting
