Breathwork
Conscious connected breathwork is about using the power of the breath to bring about positive change. When used in specific ways, conscious breathing allows us to connect with the body, become more present and increase our awareness. This in turn helps generate feelings of calm and becoming more grounded.
At deeper levels, breathwork can help to access our intuitive decision making, transform, unhelpful belief systems, work through difficult experiences and process emotions. It is one of the safest and most direct ways to work with our whole selves and integrate mind and body.
A core principle of breathwork is about trusting the wisdom of the body, our instincts and intuitions. When used in conjunction with western psychological approaches, it provides a powerful modality for growth and transformation.
We offer breathwork on a one to one basis or for groups and teams. Get in touch for a free introductory call to discuss the options.

Breathwork for individuals
A one to one breathwork session is typically 1.5 hours long and includes 3 stages: (i) preparation and intention setting (ii) 60 minutes of guided conscious breathing (iii) debriefing on the session.
Your facilitator is there to support and guide you on your journey. Everything discussed is confidential and it is a completely safe, and non-judgemental space. After spending some time exploring your intentions, you will be invited to lie down for the breathwork itself. Lying down helps with entering a state of relaxation, but the session can also be facilitated as a seated practice.
As you are breathing, the breath-worker will be checking in with you and the invitation is to feel into the body and allow any sensations, emotions or intuitions to flow through. At any point, it is possible to relax or intensify the breath, so that you are always in control of how deep you want to go. In the final part of the session, you will have an opportunity to journal or debrief on what has come up for you.

The in-person sessions take place in a private garden room in Wirksworth, Derbyshire, or can be facilitated over Zoom for those that prefer or who live farther afield.
